I’ve started a blog, but why should you care about health and wellbeing stuff? Reading is good for ya. Plus if you’re like me and want to improve yourself in every way you can, then mastering your mental and physical wellbeing is where it starts. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of people are perfectly happy with their habits and lifestyle, and I commend those people for being at a point in their lives where they don’t want to change or improve their wellbeing. But if you do think there is room for positive change then why not join me, ey?

I am so very passionate about being healthy, emotionally and physically. I never used to struggle with my emotional wellbeing until about a couple of years ago. Before then, I was the most calm and together person you will ever meet, never crying or getting angry at a single thing! But then… I went through a period of time where I was dealing with a lot of environmental stress. I consequently changed into a person nobody recognised with a consistent inability to deal with the most trivial of situations. And now, with the environmental stress triggers dealt with, and a synthetic-hormone-free life, I’m back to my usual self.

The one thing that has helped me along the way is my interest in good food and fitness. I looove to push myself physically by running half marathons, going to the gym at least 3 times a week, and doing the odd bit of fundraising for charity fun runs. A life goal of mine is to complete at least one full marathon. It’s not an if, but when. That’s the attitude I have for everything I want to accomplish. Going out for a 3 mile run or cooking a delicious healthy meal not only lifts your spirits but motivates you to do more.

On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic — 66 days to be exact. (James Clear 2018)

The first part of forming a new habit is to be inspired and motivated to do so. My aim is to help you, or at the very least inspire you, to get to a point where you feel content and healthy, emotionally and physically.
